Fueled by a love of the written word, a fascination with early illuminated manuscripts and a passion for the beauty of the natural world, my work has been a joyful, ongoing journey of discovery.

Nearly forty years ago, I began to explore the lettering arts as an expressive medium, and the captivating elegance and versatility of letterforms quickly became the focal point of my work.

I offer custom calligraphy and design for all traditional uses, including- but not limited to - invitations, certificates, diplomas, business cards and honorary resolutions, as well as my award-winning specialty; one-of-a-kind works of art that combine layers of hand-lettered text, traditional 14th century gilding, and minutely-detailed watercolor miniatures.
